Summary: TrendHunter uses Google OAuth and YouTube API Services only to provide functions authorized by the account or channel owner, such as verifying the authorized channel, uploading authorized content, and confirming the result of an operation.

Data we may access

When you grant access through Google OAuth, TrendHunter may access data permitted by the scopes you approve, including YouTube channel identity information needed to verify the authorized channel, permission to upload videos, and operational data needed to confirm request results. The service may also retain OAuth tokens required to maintain the authorized connection. We do not request or store your Google or YouTube password.

How we use data

Google and YouTube data is used only to provide prominent, user-facing TrendHunter / Trend Radar functions, including channel verification, authorized video uploads, and operation-status verification. We do not use this data for personalized advertising, credit decisions, or sale of data.

Sharing and transfers

We do not sell Google or YouTube user data. We transfer data only as necessary to provide the user-requested functionality through Google/YouTube, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable legal and consent requirements.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Authorization tokens are retained only while the authorized connection is needed to operate the service. You can revoke access at any time through Google Account permissions. When a deletion request relating to an authorization is processed, authorization tokens and deletable associated data are removed, except limited operational records that may be retained where necessary for security, audit integrity, or legal compliance.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect authorization tokens and operational records from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

YouTube API Services and Google

TrendHunter uses YouTube API Services. Use of those services is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.

User control and consent

Users control whether Google/YouTube permissions are granted or revoked. TrendHunter identifies the target channel and intended visibility state when carrying out publishing operations that require authorization.
